Biography
Elisa Giomi is Associate Professor at the University of Roma Tre , sector SPS / 08 , Department of Philosophy , Communication and Entertainment . In January 2014 he qualified for the national scientific II band in the competition sector 14 / C2 - Sociology of cultural and communication . From 2008 to 2014 was a researcher in the field of SPS / 08 at the Department of Communication Sciences, University of Siena , where he earned the title of PhD in Communication , Media and Public Sphere ( sector SPS / 08 ) in 2007 and was a research fellow ( sector SPS / 08 ) between 2002 and 2005. He completed his theoretical and methodological abroad thanks to winning scholarships ( semester as an exchange student at the University of Texas at Austin , College of Communication ; Essex Summer School in Social Sciences ; ECPR Summer School in Methods and Techniques , University of Ljubljana )
