Jawad Taleb Al-Bakri

Biography

Dr. Jawad Taleb Al-Bakri has received his PhD in Remote Sensing and Environment Monitoring, 2000, Cranfield University, UK. At present he is working as the Professor in the Dept. Land, Water and Environment, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. He has handled 10 RESEARCH PROJECTS. He has also published 22 Journal Articles also he has written Books and book chapters. He is involved with 17 Conference Proceedings. He has 3 Extension articles (Arabic) and 13 Reports and Manuals. He received different awards also such as Distinguished Researcher of 2012, University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, Research project award 2009-2012, SfP 983368, NATO-SfP, Brussels, Belgium, Prize of voluntary work, 2011, Agricultural Engineering Association, Amman, Jordan and Best lecturer of summer school, 1999, Dundee University, Scotland.

plant biodiversity, remote sensing and GIS, Vegetation changes , Vegetation changes ,soil spatial variability.
