Biography
Dr. Xiaojun Chen is an associate professor of Institute of Biomedical Manufacturing and Life Quality Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China. He received his Ph.D. degree from SJTU in 2006, and furthered his research as a postdoctoral fellow until 2008. He was promoted to associate professor at SJTU in 2010. As a visiting scholar, he had worked at the Surgical Planning Laboratory, Harvard Medical School during Oct. 2011~ Oct. 2012, and worked at TIMC-IMAG lab (CNRS, France) during Sep~Dec 2013. His research focuses on computer assisted surgery, including medical image analysis, surgical navigation, surgery simulation, surgical robots, etc.
