Biography
Dr. Pramod K. Mishra is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He completed his postdoctoral training in the blood-brain barrier and neuroinflammation field at Pennington Biomedical Research Center of Louisiana State University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Focus of his research is the role of C-type lectin receptors in the immunopathogenesis of neurocysticercosis.
Research Interest
Neuroinflammation, Blood-brain barrier , Leukocyte trafficking into the brain, Parasitic infection of brain ,Neurocysticercosis.
