Ameya Asarkar
Biography
Ameya Asarkar, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Otorhinolarnygology at LSU Health Shreveport. His clinical focus is on the treatment of patients with head and neck cancer, diseases of the salivary glands, and thyroid/parathyroid disease, with a particular interest in transoral robotic surgery. Dr. Asarkar received his medical degree at Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College, Dhule, India in 2007. In 2012, he completed a residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Sanjeevan Medical Foundation ENT Post Graduate Institute, Miraj, India.Research Interest
