Guila Delouya

Biography

Dr. Guila Delouya is a radio-oncologist in the Radiation Oncology Department of the CHUM. She is Assistant Professor at the Clinic Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, University of Montreal. Since 2014, she is president of the Philanthropy Committee of the Radiation Oncology Department and Member of the Board of Directors of the FQC (Quebec Cancer Foundation).

She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal, she decided to redirect her career in medicine in 1998. Subsequently, she completed a residency in radiation oncology and pursued studies Postdoctoral until 2011. From 2011-2014, she completed her Masters in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Montreal. In 2013, she received training in prostate brachytherapy at the University of Utah and brachytherapy in the organization of Arizona Breast Cancer Specialists.

Dr. Delouya is now scientific member of the ethics committee CRCHUM and president of the organizing committee of the preparatory course in the certification examination in Radiation Oncology of the Royal College for residents, since 2012.
 

Research Interest

Clinical research, Cancer Therapy, Prostate cancer, Gastro-intestinal cancers. Fundamental research on the various cellular actors implicated in the DNA damage response (DDR).
