Ken Nishihara is received his M.Sc. at Waseda University, Japan on the subject of electrical stimulation of bacterial cell membrane in 1988. He studied electrophysiology at Waseda University as a Ph.D. degree from 1995 to 1999 and received PT’s license at Japanese School of Technology for Social Medicine in 1999. He also studied orthopedics at Kitasato University and received the Ph.D. degree in 2005. From 1999 to 2000, he worked as a physical therapist at National Center Hospital for Mental, Nervous and Muscular Disorders, Japan From 1999 to 2004, he was Lecture Assistant with Department of Physical Therapy, Saitama Prefectural University, Saitama, Japan and, Since 2005, he has been Associate Professor at the same university. His main research focuses on the clinical use of surface electromyography.
