Parthasarathy Srinivasan completed his Ph.D in Biomedical Mathematics from Florida State. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute, The Ohio State University, before joining the Mathematics Faculty at Cleveland State.
He is currently working on modeling cross-contamination in industrial food produce, on chemotaxis models for movement of cells, and on the sensory role of the cilia in various physiological conditions. In the past, he was worked on several different problems, including reaction-diffusion properties of nitric oxide, the honey bee nest-site selection process, and image processing in electron paramagnetic resonance. His dissertation was in studying aspects of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of quadrupolar nuclei in solids, and he continue to work on problems in this area.
