Solomon Ali

Biography

Mr Solomon Ali was born on 03 December 1987 in North Wollo (Woldia), Ethiopia from his father Ali Gebeyehu Ali and his mother Yeshimebet Guanguel Shikuru. He completed his Elementary education and Junior schools from Etege Tayetu Betuel from 1995-2002. He continued his Secondary and Preparatory education in Woldia, Woldia Secondary and Preparatory School from 2003-2006. He successfully passed the Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination of grade 12 in 2006 and he joined Wollo University and graduated in July 2009 with a BSc. degree in Plant Sciences. After working for one year in Debre Markos University as a graduate assistant, he joined the School of Graduate Studies of Haramaya University in October 2011 to pursue his studies leading to M.Sc. degree in Horticulture. Starting from November 2013 he joined Debre Markos University as Lecturer and Researcher. He published more than 5 international publication and 5 national publication. he also involve in many community service activities in many aspect. Mr. Solomon has eagerly interested in molecular research as well as improvement of crop productivity in various aspect: more over he is also interested and experienced plant biotechnology research, climate change and reclamation research and organic agriculture.
