Tsair Wei Chien
Biography
Tsair Wei Chien is a senior researcher at the Chi-Mei Medical Center in Taiwan. Chi-Mei is one of the largest and most influential medical centers in Taiwan. It was established in 1968, and currently employs 3,500 people, including more than 300 medical doctors. As a senior member of the management team at Chi-Mei, He has spent the past ten years researching health care and has authored or contributed to more than 100 journal papers, books, and book chapters.
Research Interest
His research has focused on measuring psychological conditions of patients and conducting quantitative analysis of surveys collected from patients. He has also conducted substantial research in the field of improving efficiency of emergency room doctors and nurses. Because of his contributions in the field of health care research, He was chosen from many candidates as the recipient of the prestigious First Prize in Research Achievement in many institutes around Taiwan.
