Biography

Dr Karina Scurupa Machado holds MD and PhD degrees (Environmental Engineering) from the Federal University of Parana, Brazil and spent one year at University of Liverpool, UK as a part of her PhD. Currently, she is a Temporary Lecturer at Federal University of Parana. She is Environmental Chemistry expertise and very actively involved in paleoenvironmental studies. She has been investigating lacustrine and riverine sedimentary records of climate and anthropogenic changes during the late Holocene. Her research interests include Environmental chemistry, Paleoenvironmental studies, Anthropogenic and Climate changes, Geochemistry.
