Biography

Dr. Makshoof Athar is a Director & Professor, Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He is a Member of Pakistan Institute of Chemists. Research experience in Principal Scientific Officer, Center for Environmental Protection Studies, PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore. Ph.D. Research experience from 1989 to 1995 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Misbahul Ain Khan. Thesis entitled, “Degradation Studies of Heterocyclic Compounds”.  RESEARCH PROJECTS in Synthesis of Arylfurans and Their Degradative studies” funded by University Grants Commission.
