She is a Professor in Convidada do Departamento de Ciências Veterinárias, Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia, HVA - Hospital, Veterinário da Arrábida, Portugal. As a Professor, she is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of researches like Cold Intermittent Pneumatic Compression: Application in the Rehabilitation of Multiple Trauma Dogs and Cats or After Surgery . She is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and her area of expertise, as a Professor credits her with many publications in national and international journals.
