Biography

Prof Tim Paget is a Professor of Medical Microbiology in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing; he gained his PhD in 1987 on microbial/parasite biochemistry. After this he went on to complete a Wellcome funded postdoctoral post at Cardiff and during this time he also worked in the USA with Profs Lindmark and Jarroll both internationally renowned for their work on the biochemistry and physiology of Giardia. Since then he has worked as an academic in a number of institutions most recently before Sunderland he was Chair of Chemistry at Lehman College, City University of New York.
