Biography
Jin Kwan Kim is a Professor (assistant) of Geography education at Chonnam National University in South Korea and has previously worked as a senior researcher at Korea Institute of Geoscience and Minerals (KIGAM) for about 10 years. He received his Ph.D. in doctoral program in Integrative Environmental Sciences from Tsukuba University in Japan. He also received his bachelor degree (geography education) and master degree (physical geography) from Seoul National University. His research interests include soil erosion, landslides, flooding, reservoir sedimentation and sediment sources, radionuclides (Cs-137, exPb-210), channel changes, past hydro-environment reconstruction, human impacts and climate changes.
