Biography

Professor Aree Moon got her Ph.D. degree at Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Iowa State University (USA) in 1989. She has been a professor at College of Pharmacy, Duksung Women’s University (Korea) since 1995. Her main research field is cancer research, with a focus on signaling of breast cancer progression. She has published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals. She has been in the editorial board of ‘Journal of Molecular Signaling’ and ‘International Journal of Oncology’. She received a number of awards including ‘the Order of Science and Technology Merit’, and ‘Korea L’Oreal-UNESCO Award for Woman in Science’.
