Multidisciplinary research focuses on the development and implementation of integrated biotechnological solutions for healthcare, agriculture and environmental monitoring. - Real-time remote water quality monitoring- sensing of chemical and biological agents in water - Label-free Biosensor Technologies for detecting food, water and zoonotic pathogens (DNA, Enzymes, Antibodies) - Wastewater treatment – remote monitoring, detection and purification - Sensors for agricultural and aquaculture applications- detection, monitoring and control of soil nutrients & pollutants - Synthesis & characterization of bionanomaterials for biosensing applications - Development of wearable Sensor technologies & point-of-care devices for monitoring the level of glucose, lactate, cholesterol; detection of cancer biomarkers - Application of Internet of Things (IOT) and wireless communication Technologies for healthcare, agriculture and environmental monitoring.
