Biography

Dr. Mukesh Singh Boori is an Assistant Professor at JECRC University, India since 01/2013. He was Scientist in Satellite Climate Studies Branch (NOAA/NASA) USA and at the same time completed his Postdoc. from University of Maryland, USA (10/2012). He has done PhD (EIA & Management of Natural Resources) from Federal University – RN (UFRN), Natal –RN, Brazil (08/2011) and Predoc (Earth & Environmental Science) form Katholieke University Leuven, Belgium (08/2008). He has done MSc (Remote sensing & GIS) from MDS University Ajmer (2004) and BSc (Bio-group) from Uni. of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India (2002). In early career he was scientist in JSAC/ISRO (2006-2007) and before that Lecturer at MDS University Ajmer (2005-2007Sessions). He has many international awards/fellowships from USA, Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Belgium, Czech Republic and India. He visits four Continents for Meetings, Field Trips, Conferences, Trainings and known Six Languages. He is an active Organizing Committee Member in Earth Science Conferences, Successfully Completed a Session as a Co-Chair and also gave Conference Opening Ceremony Speech at Chicago, USA. He is member of many International Scientific Societies and review many international articles. His prime research interest is “EIA and Management of Natural Resources through Remote Sensing and GIS Technology”. He has more than 20 International Publications Including Books on Vulnerability, Risk Assessment and Climate Change. Recently he involve in USA and European Union Projects.

1. What is the research topic you are working on now?
I attached my biography and research interest.

2. How many years have you been associated with the current research?
Last 10 years, I am working in Remote Sensing and GIS.

3. How has your research precinct affected the scientific community?
I think all type of research work affected scientific community as they give new knowledge, idea and direction to scientific community.

4. What are attributes for a quality article?
Qualitative work, methodology, idea, results and references so that impact factor of journal will high.

5. How does the published scientific content assist the potential researchers?
By their impact factor. Journal must be come in Web of science, Science direct and Scopus.

6. Where can the journal find the maximum scope in terms of niche?
Web of science, Science direct, Scopus.

7. Your opinion on conducting EB meetings at related Conferences?
It was perfect.

8. How would you define your experience with OMICS Group?
Nice and wonderful.

9. Do you feel content with publication of your work with OMICS?
Yes but want to see high impact factor or Journal must be come in Web of science, Science direct, Scopus because right now my HoD and high ranking professors are not too much interested in OMICs journals because they are not come in Web of science, Science direct and Scopus.

10. What other aspects should be taken into consideration for Journal forbearance?
Everything is good except ranking.
