Nabila MS Bakry is an Professor of Pesticide Chemistry & Toxicology, in the department of Pesticide Chemistry in Alexandria University at Alex. Teaching Introductory and Advanced Courses of Insect Toxicology, and Chemistry of Pesticides for Undergraduate and Graduate Students; supervising more than 25 Ph.D. & more than 26 M.Sc. Graduate Students.Doing Research in the General Area of Toxicology, i.e., Synthesis, Metabolism, Effect on Enzymes and Insect Resistance to Insecticides. Supervising Graduate Work in Insect Toxicology. Research in the Area of Pest Control, Screening Insecticides against Different Pests; Preparing Programs for Cotton and Soya Bean Pest Control. Research in the Area of Insect Toxicology; Mode of Action, Metabolism and Resistance. Research in the Area of Risk Assessment of Pesticides - Interaction with Soil, Effect on Mammals and Human Exposure. Research Project on Biomonitring of Pesticide Contamination from the Pesticides Industry. "1999-2002". Funded by U.S.A ID and Egyptian Academy of Science and Technology.
