Syed Ahsan, MD FACS is a board certified Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeon and subspecialty board certified Otologist/Neurotologist. Dr. Ahsan grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended UCLA as an undergraduate. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and an AOA medical Honor society Vice president from State University of New York, Downstate Medical School. He subsequently completed an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at WSU and a fellowship in Otology/Neurotology Skull base Surgery at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Subsequently, Dr. Ahsan was in private practice for 7 years in Rancho Mirage, California and served as Chief of the ENT service at Eisenhower Medical Center for 2 years. In 2010, Dr. Ahsan joined the Faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology at Henry Ford Health System. He is now serving as the Program Director of the Residency Program at Henry Ford Health System and a Clinical Asst. Professor at Wayne State University Medical School. His hobbies are traveling, hiking, camping, repairing old German turntables and spending time with his children.
