Dr. Kharidah Muhammad received his Ph.D.degree in Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang , Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. He currently works as an Principal Investigator at Universiti Putra Malaysia. His current research interests include the Rice, Carbohydrates, Hydrocolloids and Vitamin B12.
1. Identification of the Unique Selling Points of rice and sago for further application.
2. Screening of local sources of non-starch polysaccharides and oligosaccharides to assess their potential utility as food for human health and for production of health food ingredients.
