Yoshiko Masuda

Biography

Yoshiko Masuda DDS, PhD. I was graduate the PhD of Periodontics in Showa University School of Dentistry.  After graduate this program, I went to Dr. Jeffcoat’s laboratory for two years. It was the Dep. of Periodontics, the University of Alabama in Birmingham in USA. In this place, I did several research include radiographic subtraction program. In other time, I taught to students, and sometimes I treated for periodontitis patient with surgical treatment.  In this visit, I was able to have a lot of experience about periodontology and radiology. And I could be discussed about research and treatment planning, not only with US people but also some department’s staffs of several countries peoples. These experiences are the one of my treasure. I wish the person who wants to study abroad will have many experiences about dental technology and the different point of view from your country.

 Now, I am working at the division of Radiology, Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences. My research area is the radiographic imaging technology and diagnose.
