Biography

Dr. M.M. Ali is a Senior Scientist in National Remote Sensing Centre, Balanagar, Hyderabad, India. He’s main research interest has been the Ocean-Atmosphere interaction with special reference to Wind Stress and Ocean Heat Content. He has particularly interested in estimating the wind stress from scatterometer and altimeter observations of sigma-0. He has a desire proving the importance of ocean mean temperature, compared to sea surface temperature, for cyclone and monsoon predictions.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) observations collected at 5 min interval at Sriharikota during October 2011-January 2012 from the Vaisala GMP-343 sensor were averaged on an hourly basis.
