Biography

Gisélia Alves Pontes da Silva Graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1973), Master's in Child and Adolescent Health from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1982) and Doctorate in Pediatrics and Sciences Applied to Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (1991). She is Full Professor of Pediatrics, Maternal-Infant Department, Federal University of Pernambuco. Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Child and Adolescent Health CCS/UFPE.
