Kaija Saranto
Biography
Dr. Kaija Saranto launched the first master and doctoral degree programs in health and human services informatics. In 2012 the master degree program received the status ”IMIA accredited” as the first internationally and re-accreditation in 2018. She is engaged with the HIMSS TIGER Group and curriculum development in health informatics. She chaired the SPCs for NI2009, MedInfo 2015 and NI2018, the ECs for NI2009 and NI2014 and was the VP for MedInfo 2017. Currently she is chairs EFMI WG EDU.Publications
