Primary interests are in the areas of Environmental and occupational health and safety, Epidemiology, Regulatory affairs, Toxicology, Microbiology, Occupational physiology, Epidemiology, Occupational infectious diseases, Public health and Venomous poisons. Recent research investigations and studies have focused on smoking-related issues in occupational populations, global warming, food-borne diseases, occupational infections and venomous organism. More recent research activities have included, as examples, microbial toxicology, botanical toxicology, global pollution, epidemiology of anti-cancer effects of different substances, occupational exposures, medical errors, nosocomial diseases and risk assessment.
