Dr. Huo received her MD degree at Beijing Medical University and her PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Northwestern University. She completed her residency training in Anatomic Pathology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and subspecialty fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Breast Pathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Huo is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at MDAnderson Cancer Center. She is an experienced breast pathologist and has been actively involved in clinical and translational research in the field of breast cancer. With particular interests in inflammatory breast cancer, she is pursuing expression profiling analysis in this aggressive form of breast cancer.
