Biography

Dr. Pere M Casanova is currently being employed as Associate Professor of research in Department of Animal Production, University of Lleida, Spain. After graduating in 1987 in the Autonomous Univ. of Barcelona (Catalunya, Spain), Prof Pere have been employed as abattoir Inspector at the Public Health Department of "Generalitat de Catalunya". While gaining expertise in fowl and ungulates clinics, he was involved in some research projects for the Autonomous Univ. In 2009, he obtained his PhD, and currently, he is enrolled as associate professor for the education of Animal Health Science students (Animal Anatomy) in the Univ. of Lleida (Catalunya). Prof Peres research interest includes Animal Ethnology, Morphometrics, Osteology, Geometric Analysis and Geometric Morphometrics.
