Biography
Vanja Vucicevic Boras was born on 10.9.1971. She finished Classical Gymnasium in Zagreb and School of Dental medicine in 1997. She did her MS thesis in the year 2000 and PhD thesis in the year 2003. She finished residency in oral medicine in 2004 and became specialist in oral medicine. In the year 2006, she became assistant professor. During 2005 and 2006 she was on postodoctoral studies at University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.She published two books: Oral Medicine-from diagnosis till therapy 2005 and Infection control procedures in dental setting 2008, third one waiting to be published this year Differental diagnosis in dental radiology. She is author and coauthor of around 70 articles. Speaks English, German and Italian as well as Latin and Greek. She is married and mother of two.
Research Interest
Saliva, oral diseases, especially burning mouth syndrome, recurrent aphthous ulceration, oral lichen planus.
