Biography
Abhijeet has about 15+ years of experience in Public health in India, South Africa and United Kingdom. He has studied Post graduation in Public Health and Management (PGDPHM) from Institute of Post Graduate medicine, Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), University of Brighton. He is also Post Graduate in Rural Management (PGDRM) with specialization in Project management, from Xavier Institute of Social Services (XISS). He has been actively associated with University of Sussex UK, University of Brighton UK, University of Oxford UK and University of Cambridge UK. He is a fellow of Royal Society of Public health (FRSPH) UK. He has worked in various organizations in India, South Africa and UK such as IDF-UNICEF, VSO- HIV SOUTH AFRICA, CARE India, NHS UK & Unilever. He is currently working as India Manager in Hindustan Unilever Ltd. India and based out in Mumbai. He attended World congress on Health and Medical Sociology in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in September 2016.
He has several articles, few are: The Role of Team Effectiveness in Quality of Health Care, The Use of Mobile Geotag Technology in Driving Project Performance at Scale.
Research Interest
His research expertise in area of Public Health, Global Health, Rural Development. He is expert in social research methodology, qualitative study, Participatory Rural appraisal(PRA) & Rapid Rural Appraisal(RRA).
