Dr. Patrizia Zavattari, is currently working as the Head of a Molecular Biology, Genomics and Epigenomics Laboratory. She has received her M.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Pisa (Italy) in 1994 and the PhD in Pediatric therapy and pharmacology of development at the University of Cagliari (Italy) in 2003. She is Associate Professor of Experimental Biology and Genetics at the University of Cagliari. Her current research interests mainly focused on molecular oncology, in particular searching for genomic and epigenomic alterations of tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, gliomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
