EDUCATION: Aug. 2006- Aug. 2010: Ph.D. in Health Care Policy: University of Akron. 1997- 1998: Master of Nursing Administration: Marquette University, 1996: BSN: Al-Quds University Current position: Associate Professor, College of Nursing, Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine.
EMPLOYMEHT HISTORY: Sep. 1996-present: Started to work for the College of Nursing at the Islamic University of Gaza as a clinical instructor for one year. Then got my Master degree and became a teacher. In 2010, I got my PhD and promoted to the position of assistant professor. During my employment history at the college of nursing, I served in the following positions and committees: Sept. 2012-Sept 2014: Chair of planning committee. Spt. 2011-Sept. 2012: Chair of Quality Improvement committee. Sep. 2010-Aug.2011 : Chair of Clinical Practice Department. Aug.2001- Aug.2003: Dean of the college of nursing. Apr. 1990-Aug. 1997: Worked as a staff nurse then a senior nurse in different departments at Ahli Arab Hospital.
Research Interest
1. Health care policy, Quality of life, Health education and health promotion, Spiritual care, End of life care, Intensive care nursing and Ethics in health care.
