Athar Ansari
Biography
After completing Doctor of Medicine course in Community Medicine at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 1998. He joined the faculty in 1999. He is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and also involved in training of medical interns in rural health programmes. He is also involved in the research activities directed towards micronutrient deficiencies, HIV/AIDS, disaster management and environmental health issues. He has got 69 papers published in the reputed journals He has presented papers in international conferences in Bangkok, Singapore, Colombo and Dhaka and more than 100 papers in national conferences/ symposia/ workshops/ courses. He is working with high risk groups for HIV/AIDS.
