Lisa M. Vaughn, PhD, is a professor of pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center within the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine with a joint appointment in educational studies at the University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services. She is formally trained as a social psychologist, counselor, and medical educator.
Dr. Vaughn has specific training and experience in community-based participatory research, community engagement, qualitative research methodologies, and culturally relevant health care with a focus on understanding health disparities and promoting health equity specifically with minority and immigrant families and vulnerable youth.
