I got an offer to work and study at Harvard University on neuron cell culture. It’s an amazing experience. Funds are received from the Centre for International Studies USA and I am very grateful to be in a top university to gain firsthand experience. My research at JHU is merely based on cell-cell fusion, which is critical to the development and physiology of multicellular organisms, and is involved in a variety of biological processes such as fertilization, myogenesis, and placenta development; bone remodeling, immune response, tumor metastasis, and aspects of stem cell-mediated tissue regeneration. I have worked on fly model to establish a new theorem with collaborative with another post doc fellow.Teaching and supervising Masters Projects are the main job at the institute. Project title of the Principle Investigator is Characterization of Growth Hormone (GH) and Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) receptor mutations and sequence variants in a cohort of Sri Lankan children with GH deficiency. Mainly engage with the teaching for medical students and it’s really challenging job due to students must train for cure patients. It’s the most exciting job I ever had 2010 –2011 Colombo University,Institute of Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Sri Lanka
