Biography

Dr. Charles E. Bishop, AuD, PhD, CCC-A, is an associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. In addition to maintaining a busy clinic schedule, Dr. Bishop is involved with audiology graduate extern and ENT resident education and participates in NIH-funded clinical research focused mainly on the relationship of cardiometabolic disease and hearing in the Jackson Heart Study cohort. Clinically, Dr. Bishop works with adults and children assessment and management of hearing, tinnitus, and auditory processing.
