Biography
Dr. Kiyoaki Kato received his Ph.D. degree in Department of Agro-Environmental Science, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan. His current research interests include the Rice, Cultivation, Rice Research and Agronomy.

Improved grain quality is a major breeding target in rice (Oryza sativa L. subsp. japonica), owing to market demand.
