Thiago Gomes Heck is presently working as a professor in the Department of Life Sciences in the Regional University of the Northwest, Brazil. Thiago Gomes Heck research interests includes: Exercise physiology in animal models especially about heat shock proteins functions, Roles of heat shock proteins during exercise and its effects on Immune function, Roles of heat shock proteins in metabolism control in experimental models of diabetes, Roles of heat shock proteins in cell protection against air pollution induced oxidative stress during exercise.
