Biography
Dr.Hala Amer ( BDS, MSc, PhD Egypt ) is a professor of Dental Public Health (since 2012) in Alexandria University Egypt and in King Abdulaziz (KAU ) University Saudi Arabia. In KAU she was a course director for Dental Public Health from 2005-2011, She shared in organizing and teaching Dental Epidemiology, Prevention, Dental Public health programs and Research Methodology for the undergraduate as well as the postgraduateand dental hygiene students. She supervised many Masters and one PhD thesis & conducted research in most of the branches of the specialty, and is a reviewer for many local and international journals.
Research Interest
Health service planning, quality & evaluation, oral disease epidemiology, prevention and surveys, social parameters and oral health, tobacco use & its relation to oral health.
