Reinaldo B. Bestetti
Biography
Reinaldo B. Bestetti earned his medical degree in 1980. From 1981 to 1983, he did medical residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In 1988, he earned his doctoral (PhD) degree. He was the coordinator of a heart transplantation program from 2000 to 2012. His research lines are heart failure and medical education. In 2008, he was invited to be a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He has been the director of the medical course of University of Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, since 2009. He has published about 145 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, and his h-index is 25.
