Biography

Angus's career started in the UK as an NHS hospital pharmacist, followed by six years in a private hospital pharmacy management position. This was followed by nine years as an NHS, then independent prescribing advisor, during which time he worked with four NHS primary care organisations and >50 general practices promoting evidence based and cost-effective prescribing. For the last six of these years, he also had a broader portfolio of roles, including work as a visiting lecturer at three universities, pharmaceutical writing, project management and locum community pharmacy work.
