Biography

Cristine Delnevo is a scholar in tobacco control and the director of Rutgers’ Center for Tobacco Studies, based in the School of Public Health. She holds a PhD in health studies and a master’s in public health.Her work focuses on population-level patterns of tobacco use and tobacco control policy. As smoking prevalence is dropping to record low levels in the United States, she is interested in how the tobacco industry exports its deadly product globally.
