Epidemiology Program, LSU School of Public Health, New Orleans, LA, USA

Biography

Dr. Peters is Professor and Chair of the LSU School of Public Health’s Epidemiology Program and an Epidemiologist with the Louisiana Tumor Registry. In addition, he established and directs the School’s Epidemiology Data Center, a service core that provides epidemiologic and survey research infrastructure to investigators throughout the region. Dr. Peters has been at the LSU School of Public Health and the Louisiana Cancer Research Center since 2004 when he was recruited to help expand the cancer epidemiology research program. Since 2005 he has led the development of the MPH and Ph.D. programs in Epidemiology.
