Biography

Dr. Ekta Saroha is Public Health Specialist at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-India). She has nearly 20 years of experience in managing and implementing maternal and child health programs in India. In various capacities, Dr. Saroha has supported the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in strengthening the national health information system for evidence-based decision-making. She completed her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has extensively researched and published gender and caste disparities in maternal and child health.
