Hans W. Sollinger, MD, PhD, is the Folkert Belzer Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Biography

Hans W. Sollinger, MD, PhD, is the Folkert Belzer Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. After receiving his MD and PhD in Munich, Germany, he did his residency and fellowship in immunology research at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. He was president of ASTS 1996-1997 and has also been president of the International Society of Organ Sharing and treasurer of The Transplantation Society. He also serves on the editorial board of several academic journals, including Transplantation and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons.
