Biography

She is PhD Student at the Università Politecnica delle Marche. Master Degree in Marine Biology at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy (110/110; 2011). Since 2004 I collaborate with the National Research Council, Institute of Marine Sciences of Ancona (CNR-ISMAR), participating to several research projects, both at national and at european level, concerning the impact of offshore artificial structures (gas platforms and pipe lines, discharge areas, artificial reefs) on the benthic community and fish assemblages. I also partecipate to field activities and laboratory analysis concerning the taxonomic analysis of macrozoobenthic samples. She is author/coauthor of more than 50 papers between technical reports and scientific papers.

Research Interest

Assessment of environmental impact of artificial structures (gas platforms and pipe lines, discharge areas, artificial reefs) on the benthic communities and fish assemblages.
Taxonomic analysis of soft/hard bottom benthic samples.
Gut content analysis of fish species (e.g.: Scorpaena porcus, S. notata, S. scrofa, Solea solea, Dicenrarchus labrax).
Sampling at sea of soft and hard bottom macrozoobenthic communities.
