Martin Perez-Santos
Biography
Martin Perez-Santos is currently Professor in Autonomous University of Puebla. In 2001, Dr. Perez-Santos received his Ph. D. degree from Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute. Between 2000-2011, he worked as a patent examiner in the area of vaccines and cancer in the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.
Research Interest
One of my main interests is the epidemiological study and population-attributable factors of cancer, including breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate. On the other hand, I am studying those events involved in metastasis, each as miRNAs, aerobic glycolysis, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
