Dr. Jun Xu is is working as Associate Professor at Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He has many publication on his research area. He got his Ph.D in Hydrobiology, Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My research interests are very broad and prior to the field of aquatic ecology. I focused on trophic interactions in food webs, which was also the theme of my thesis. During recent years my active research is focusing mainly on aquatic food web interactions and on habitat couplings by consumers between planktonic and benthic food webs. Most of my studies have been carried out in eastern-southern China, but I have also worked in Tibetan lakes, the third polar region in the world.
