Biography

Guy Lefebvre is the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Université de Montréal and professor of international business contracts and transportation law. He is the author of numerous publications, in French, English, Chinese and Portuguese. Guy Lefebvre was visiting professor at several universities in China, France, Tunisia and Canada. In 1997, he has founded the Center for the Law of Business and International Commerce of his faculty and, in 2006, he has created the first master of laws program in Canada designed exclusively for foreign students. Guy Lefebvre has received several distinctions, including the Canadian Bar Association\\\\s Paul-André-Crépeau Medal and the Medal of Merit from the China University of Political Science and Law. He is also Fellow of the Center for Public Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Science. Professor Lefebvre is member of the Quebec Bar and received his law degrees from Université de Montréal and University College London (U.K.).
