Biography

First of all I’m a curious man: I’m really interested in understanding how things work. This characteristic has driven my personal a professional life. About the latter, I love outpatient treatment because it allow a deep understanding on how patient think and feel and how addiction interfere in their life, and thus permit a perfect setting to establish a favourable physician-patient relationship. Again curiosity is responsible of my research interests and activities, in particular in the field of addiction. I deepened specifically: pharmacological treatment of alcohol dependence, craving and neurobiology of addiction. Now I’m experiencing in double diagnosis and treatment outcome evaluation. After completing a specialization in internal medicine department, I got closer to addiction field working with alcohol dependent patient needing a liver transplantation. I was really fascinated by addiction multi-disciplinary treatment and I carried on my professional and educational career in this field. Teo Vignoli
